SURFACE

• Clay court: Typically deep red in color, clay courts are normally made of crushed stone, brick or shale. They offer reduced ball speed, a higher bounce and the ability to slide. So players need an agile, supportive shoe with grip in just the right places.
• Hard court: As the name suggests, hard courts are generally made from asphalt or concrete. They offer a high, predictable bounce and a fast playing experience, so players need a stable, lightweight shoe with plenty of grip.
• Multi-court: Featuring a versatile herringbone tread, multi-court shoes provide reliable grip across a variety of surfaces. Ideal for most racket sports, they can be worn on clay, indoor and hard courts.
• Heel to toe Drop : Is the difference in height between the heel and the forefoot. In a shoe with a drop of 7mm, your heel will sit 7mm higher than your forefoot. Shoes with a lower drop tend to place more load on the ankles and are generally better for midfoot and forefoot strikers. Shoes with a higher drop tend to place more load on the knees and hips and generally better for heel strikers.
