The Mizuno Wave Rider 27 Women’s Running Shoe is lighter than before and comes with the all new full-length MIZUNO ENERZY midsole to provide a soft landing and smooth toe-off and is 17% softer and delivers 15% more energy return. Combined with newly designed parallel-shaped WavePlate, Mizuno has produced the most propulsive and smoothest ride yet. The new shape of the Parallel WavePlate provides support and cushioning and an improved transition. The heel structure of the new upper has been revamped to provide a seamless upper fit that gently wraps around the entire foot. The weight has been made five grams lighter.

Mizuno Enerzy Foam provides significant levels of cushioning and energy return, but doesn't operate in isolation. A Mizuno Wave Plate - made from Pebax Rnew® - supports forward propulsion and smooth transition through the gait cycle.

Upper Fit

The Wave Rider 27's upper is designed to wrap around your feet. A significant amount of the upper contains no stitching. Low amounts of stitching means less chance of irritation and blisters - as there are not many seams that can cause friction.

The Wave Rider 27 provides a secure fit at the heel.
