Stretch Woven Upper

Providing you with an exceptional level of comfort and breathability, enhancing performance, the Wave Sky 7s utilise a stretch woven upper. The woven materials allow air to flow freely through the construction of the shoes, to ensure that feet remain cool and comfortable when training and running. Mizuno has reduced the thickness of the fabric and adopted a newly updated design that weaves air vents into the vamp to assist breathability. The upper materials are soft and smooth to prevent irritation or chafing from occurring, whilst are also stretchy to allow feet to move more comfortably and freely for an enjoyable experience. A traditional lace-up system allows you to get a locked-in, secure fit, as well as, helps to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.

Mizuno Enerzy Core and Wave Midsole

The shoes feature a Mizuno Enerzy Core midsole section to enhance in-shoe cushioning and energy return, for ultimate comfort from start to finish. Mizuno Enerzy Core delivers the highest benefits of this technology, which is the softest and most bouncy material ever created. This cushioning is 293% soft and provides 56% more energy return than previously used midsole materials, providing you with performance-enhancing strides. Working alongside this, the shoes have a Mizuno Wave compound, which helps enhance stability without sacrificing the iconic floating feeling of Enerzy Core, allowing comfortable, supportive running experiences.

X10 Carbon Rubber Outsole

A carbon-based rubber outsole is an exceptional addition to this shoe, as it will provide you traction on rocky or unpredictable terrain, particularly at the heel strike. The rubber covers the heel, forefoot and midfoot to enhance durability, resisting the traumas of heel strike and toe-off to provide you with a reliable and long-lasting running buddy. The heel strike will additionally have a solid grip with a wide range of surfaces.
