Meindl Verte GTX

The ultimate high altitude boot, that's the Verte GTX from Meindl. Reliable in extreme conditions and terrain, for high altitude tours and ice climbing, and developed with a team of mountain guides. The Vibram® Alpine sole, reinforced with a carbon plate, gives you secure footing during ascents and climbing as well as good cushioning while descending. The TPU heel spoiler allows for a great grip of all rocking levers of current crampon models. Alpine Sole The heel spoilier is angled to create a surface for holding crampons without protrusions, making it possible to tread down and roll off in an economical and natural way. Ergonomic Fit Technology Toward the top of the cuff the boot becomes softer and the materials stretch to prevent pressure points and chafing. The new enclosed tongue and cuff system protects the foot against penetration of moisture and dirt.  In conjunction with lacing the boots, this provides a perfect unit with a noticeable pleasant feel.
