A mixed boot for long hikes and alpine passes, this boot transforms into a technical boot for climbing when you need it to. The Alta Via Gtx is a hiking or trekking boot that benefits from Gore-Tex lining and a Meindl Multigrip outsole by Vibram. Models in the Meindl Alpine range combine extreme lightness and great toughness. As a result, they guarantee a safe, solid step when walking, even during the most demanding excursions. The boot's construction includes a very soft upper as well as stretch materials inside the collar which prevents pressure points and rubbing. The closed combination tongue/collar prevents moisture and dirt from getting inside. Combined with the lacing, it makes up a perfect whole, providing the foot with a pleasant sensation of support.
