The Removable Airbag System is a removable avalanche airbag system based on a square airbag that deploys behind the wearer’s head.
It allows the user to independently install the system in a removable airbag-compatible backpack and remove it as required. He or she can therefore use the backpack both with the airbag system (e.g. when freeriding) and without (e.g. for a day on secured pistes).
It also allows the user to always select the backpack best suited to the specific purpose. The Removable Airbag System is also distinguished by its simple and safe operation.
This Mammut R.A.S is compatible with all removable 3.0 backpacks from Winter 2016 onwards.
