Lorpen is the only brand in the world that manufactures socks with 3 different yarn layers. Includes:

• A hydrophobic yarn in contact with the skin that wicks away sweat and keeps the skin dry.
• A hydrophilic yarn on the outer middle that wicks sweat away from the skin, and spreads it out to dry faster.
• A resistant outer thread (normally Nylon) that protects the areas exposed to friction depending on the type and level of activity.

Merino

Merino sheep's wool, due to its greater length (65-100 mm) and the smaller diameter of its fibres (less than 24 microns), results in a softer yarn with a finer curl that is more pleasant in contact with the skin. The fibre core is hydrophilic (retains moisture) and breathable. Being a fibre that retains heat even when wet, it is the intermediate fibre in Lorpen T3 socks for colder temperatures.

PrimaLoft ECO

Polyester yarn developed by PrimaLoft® (No. 1 worldwide in artificial thermal insulation in technical garments). It is a soft, thermally insulating, hydrophobic fibre that expels and does not absorb moisture, now made with 70% of its content coming from recycled resources, such as plastic bottles.
