Primaloft:

Polyester yarn developed by Primaloft (No. 1 worldwide in artificial thermal insulation in technical garments). It is a soft, thermally insulating, hydrophobic fibre that expels and does not absorb humidity.

Merino:

Merino sheep's wool, due to its greater length (65-100 mm) and the smaller diameter of its fibres (less than 24 microns), results in a softer yarn with a finer curl that is more pleasant in contact with the skin. The fibre core is hydrophilic (retains moisture) and breathable. Being a fibre that retains heat even when wet, it is the intermediate fibre in Lorpen T3 socks for colder temperatures.
